I sculpted this Steampunk Rainbow Beetle from polymer clay and colored it with pearl powders. It is sealed in a satin varnish. It has real metal gears.
It is securely glued to the glass in the frame. I repainted the frame to match the feel of the piece.
The sculpt itself measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. The frame is 7 1/4 quarter by 5 1/4 inches.
