🐭 The Northern Short Tailed Shrew lives in the North Eastern area of North America and is one of the worlds few venomous mammals. It's venom is in it's saliva but is only deadly to animals up to it's same size or slightly bigger. If you handle this critter and get bit it's gonna hurt but you'll be ok. 🐭

I hand sculpted this cutie on the mushroom and the tulip from polymer clay and added a little acrylic paint for details. It is securely glued to the 5x7 inch canvas that I also hand painted with acrylics. It fits snugly in the 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inch plastic frame.
