The Butterfly Bat is a species of bat from Southeast Asia. It is rarely seen but not an endangered species although habitat loss is likely to change that.

This necklace is 6 1/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall. It is made from Cosclay, a new type of polymer clay that remains flexible after curing. It has a metal armature inside that the chain is securely affixed to. I used a snowflake obsidian in his belly and glass diamonds on his wings and belly. He is hand painted with acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
He is very light, weighing in at just a little over 2 ounces. The chain is 18 inches long but can be shortened if you let me know what length you'd like.
I only wore it for the photo, so you can be assured it is brand new.
